The MPEXUSB3S2 2-Port Mini PCI Express SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Card Adapter adds two external USB ports to small form factor systems, for connecting a variety of different peripherals. Supporting the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 specification, each port is capable of supporting transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps (10x faster than USB 2.0) and providing up to 900 mA of power (almost 2x than USB 2.0). Using the Mini PCI Express (Mini Card) form factor, this adapter card is designed for use in the latest very small form factor computer systems, such as Mini-ITX or custom embedded solutions where a standard PCIe card would not fit.
